LLAMA Syntax Help:
Using the Category Editor
The Category Editor looks something like the following (the exact look
and feel of the Category Editor may vary from computer to computer):
At the top of the Category Editor are the Delete and Edit buttons.
Just below them is the Pick List, and below that are the Entry Field
and the Add button.
Adding Categories
To add a category, you simply type its "name" in the Entry Field
and click on the Add button. You can add bar levels to the category
you are editing using the up arrow key, and subtract them using the down
arrow key.
Since you can only add one category at a time, you can't type spaces
in the Entry Field. You can delete the character to the left of the
cursor using the Backspace key. The Delete key deletes the character to
the right of the cursor.
Deleting Categories
To delete a category, first select it (from the Pick List) by clicking on
it once. This will highlight the selected category. Then, click on the
Delete button once. (The next category in the list will then be highlighted.)
Editing Categories
To edit a category, first select it (from the Pick List) by clicking on
it once. This will highlight the selected category. Then, click on the
Edit button once. This will remove the category from the list and place
it in the Entry Field for editing. You can then make whatever changes
you would like. When you are done making the changes, click on the Add
button to put the edited category back in the list.
Tips and Tricks
Here are a couple of tips that will help you make better use of the
Category Editor:
- The Tab key will move you back and forth between the Entry Field and the
Add button.
- You can delete the contents of the Entry Field by double-clicking
in it with your mouse.
