Background
Chisholm, who served as department head from 1990 to 1994, combines interests in media management, journalism and creative writing. Nationally known for his work in newspaper circulation education, Chisholm created a educational television series, Circulation Strategies for the 1990s, which reached more than 200 daily newspapers in 1991 via the Newspaper Satellite Network in Dallas. In the mid-1980s, Chisholm was honored by Editor & Publisher magazine and the International Circulation Managers Assn. with a Distinguished Service Award, in recognition of his major contribution to the circulation profession the only educator ever so honored. In 1995-96, Chisholm is on sabbatical and working on a series of murder mysteries and a history of the Mormon migration to Utah.
