Professional & University Service

Pease moderated a panel of prominent media figures in a session titled "Values and the Media," Community of Caring national conference, Park City, Utah, Aug. 2, 1996.

Among his other recent activities:

  • Attended the 1996 national convention of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) in Anaheim, Calif., where he participated in meetings as a newly elected member of the Association's Standing Committee on Professional Freedom and Responsibility, and as a member of the Association of Schools of Journalism and Mass Communication's (ASJMC) Executive Committee. He was also named to chair the AEJMC Task Force on Public Outreach and, as a member of the AEJMC Publications Committee, named to chair its Subcommittee on Electronic Publishing.
