Several of the above courses have been developed as part of the JMU Essential Mathematics for Middle School project with support from the National Science Foundation  Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) program.   These courses also support the Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies Major at JMU.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics will also evaluate and approve appropriate substitutions based on course content requirements.  Inparticular,the Mathematics 135 requirement may be met by examination.

Math 107-108 is roughly equivalent to Virginia Community College System Mathematics 151-152
