1. From your textbook, do words 2-6 of Exercise 6 on page 83 and do Exercise 7 on page 85. Give careful thought to the right hierarchical relations. Then do the same for these additional words:

   5. millionaires
2. Find two examples not mentioned in our text (or in class) words resulting from any of the following word formation processes: blends, acronyms, morphological reanalysis, and functional shifts. State which process created each word you provide
3. Attempt Exercise 17 on page 99, which looks at an example of a set of allomorphs in English that we have not discussed (You don't need to use formal notation; just describe what you see as the morphophonological change and the conditions underwhich that change occurs. :) )
