1. Re-read the portion of the morphology chapter that discusses The Hierachical Structure of Words. Then attempt to determine the hierachical structure of the words words "refinishing" and "informality".
2. Though irregular allomorphs cannot be predicted by rule, there can be (and are in English) multiple words containing the same irregular allomorph. Re-examine the list of irregular past tense allomorphs in English on page 103, and then do Exercise 20 on page 104.
