1. From your textbook, do the last three words (4-6) of Exercise 6 on page 83 and do Exercise 7 on page 85. Give careful thought to the right hierarchical relations. Then do the same for these additional words:
   1. nonsmoker

   5. millionaires
2. Find two examples not mentioned in our text (or in class) of words resulting from any one of the following processes: blends, acronyms, or functional shifts.
3. Read about allomorphs and morphophonological rules in your textbook and attempt Exercise 17 on page 99. (You can just write out the rule rather than trying to use rule notation! :) )
