Instructions: [This is two assignments. The individual prepartion could be your GRADED assignment, if you choose to write it up as such. Otherwise, both assignments will be graded as an acceptable or unacceptable effort.]
You have now chosen or been assigned to a presentation group for A Prayer for Owen Meany .

• **To get credit for assignment 17, each person should turn in an explanation of the individual preparation work that he/she did before the presentation.** If your preparation is appropriate for a fully graded assignment and you would like this assignment to be your graded assignment, make sure to type it up in careful, organized language that shows serious reflection and a good understanding of the presentation topic, the text, and information related to the topic. Also make sure to indicate on the assignment that you would like it to count as your graded assignment. :)
• To get credit for assignment 18, your group must make a solid effort at giving a good presentation, staying within the time limits, and you must be a participant. **Please give your names at the start of your presentations. Also, if there are any handouts or other class materials used, please give me need a copy.**
• REMINDER: Because everyone should show other presentation groups the courtesy of being present as an audience for their presentations, I will circulate an attendance sheet on these presentation days. An unexcused absence will affect your overall assignments grade for the course. If, however, you have an extremely good reason and get advance permission from me to miss one of the days, there will be no penalty.)

TIMETABLE:Group meetings and opportunity to get help from me, class time Monday (4/12). Groups 1-3 present Wednesday (4/14), Groups 4,5, and 6 present Monday (4/19), and Groups 7 and 8 present next Wednesday (4/21).
