These are the three bridges over the River Conwy (Llandudno Junction is on the opposite shore). The one in the middle was designed by Thomas Telford, and completed in 1826; it was one of the first suspension bridges in the world. The one on the right is the Conwy Railway Bridge, a tubular bridge opened in 1849. Both bridges abut the castle grounds. Note how they made the effort to make the bridges blend in with their surroundings.
