"Ineffable Blue"
Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin

Who knows the land where painted of Ineffable blue is the sky?
Where quite sea waves flow by,
Where the eternal laurel and the cypress Grow so proud?
Where Torquato's verse was cast? Where, time after time in the deep of the Night his poems sway again and again? The land where Raphael painted, where The marble did move Canova's chisel, And rough martyr Byron sung pain, love And imprecation.
Italy, land of mystery, land of joy, land of inspiration.
