(A) Using R, solve problem #8.70 on p. 342, according to the following steps.

(1) Using R, print the data.

(2) Construct a Q-Q plot on the data, and discuss whether or not the normality assumption is reasonable.

(3) State the null and alternative hypotheses. Be sure to define any notation (i.e., define μ ) which you use.

(4) Using R, compute the P-value and highlight it in YELLOW.

(5) Write the conclusion of the hypothesis test in statistical terms and in regular English.

(6) Using R, construct the (TWO-SIDED) 90% confidence interval on the population mean ( μ ).

(7) Highlight in PINK your 90% confidence interval.

(B) Show your R-code and R-output. Although you are allowed to receive help from others, list the names of those who helped you and the names of those whom you helped, as well as what type of help was given. If you did not give or receive help, then write "No help" on the first page. Submit your homework as a .pdf to Canvas.
