Exercises followed by a "*" are due by the due date. All other exercises are recommended but not required.

Do NOT use calculators. The only software permitted is R.

"Hand-calculations" imply that you may NOT use any functions containing the word "test," although you are still encouraged to use R as much as possible. "By R" implies that you may use functions containing the word "test."

Read in (i.e., do not retype) the data, whenever the data are available on my website.

Whenever you use R to solve the exercises, print both the source code and the computer's answer, and clearly label these.

Introduce the exercise numbers and letters, and restate your final answers (unless your final answer is a large table), and submit .html file using R Markdown on Canvas.
