Clean Novell client from your PC

Follow these steps:

If you encounter any more clients that just keep looping and want to install themselves over and over, here is how we have fixed it:

Go to C:\client32\admin and run unc32.exe and then click and run unc32.exe again. After the second time, click to reboot

Delete the entire C:\Novell folder
Delete the entire C:\Netware folder if it exists (This is an old version of the client.)

Start, Run, Regedit and delete the following two keys (delete entire folder):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell

Note: make sure to delete the Novell folder and NOT the Netware folder!
Also if the following key exists (it probably won't) delete it also:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\NETWORK\NOVELL

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Make sure the following entry (key) is deleted:
ZENRC Tray Icon

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
Make sure the following entries (keys) are deleted:

  1. Remote Management
  2. Workstation Scheduler
  3. WUOL Service
  4. Zenworks Imaging

Then just run the client setup.exe again, reboot and there should be no more looping.
