I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at James Madison University. My research interests lie in the areas of Operator Theory, Complex and Functional Analysis, and Operator Algebras. In addition to research, I am passionate about teaching and outreach. I am originally from Columbia, SC, and I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. I have been a faculty member at JMU since 2010. In my free time, I like to crochet, solve Sudoku puzzles, watch sports, and spend time with my family.
