Head Judge

When working with multiple Judging Lanes, events may benefit from utilizing Head Judges for each of the three judging areas.  Depending on the number of lanes to coordinate, the Head Judge may or may not judge teams.  Typical responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the judging area and all category activities with the Judge Advisor. 
• Ensure all judging sessions in their area run smoothly
• Assign award responsibilities in their area 
• Facilitate and supervise ranking process for all category award nominees 
• Coordinate Champion's Award interaction on behalf of the category
• Oversee script development for all category awards
• Review rubric feedback to teams and any comments to ensure they are adequate, appropriate and constructive
