When you develop the web site for your client, you will need to add a statement at the bottom of the main home page that states that the site and all of its contents are Copyright 1997 by [name of client]. A good idea is to attach a link from the word "Copyright" to a statement about copyright violations.

For this assignment, your group is to develop a document that states your client's copyright policy. On this document, also include a statement that says all text, graphics, JAVA scripts, HTML code, etc. that you have used in the construction of your site are your own creation or public domain. If you have used copyrighted material, make sure you have permission from the copyright holder to use that material, and state so by saying something like Used With Permission. You may wish to create this document in HTML format, so that you can later insert it into your client's Web site.

Each group will turn in one document (hard copy) of your copyright statement. This assignment is due on Tuesday, March 18, 1997.
