• Do exercise 4 at the end of Chapter Two in our text.
• Think of (or find in the wild :) ) one example of an existing metaphoric linguistic expression that you think may not fit into the common source and/or target domains for conceptual metaphor discussed in Chapter Two. State what the domains in your example seem to be and also whether or not you see how one might extend the generalizations in Chapter Two to incorporate these conceptual domains.
