WXJM TRANSMITTER SITE PHOTO TOUR

WXJM is a student station for James Madison University, and is not programmed by WMRA. However, WMRA does provide technical assistance for the operation of WXJM, and the two stations share a common studio building.

The WXJM tower is situated atop JMU's Burruss Hall, which is adjacent to Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

This is a view of the WXJM antenna, a Celwave ECFM-3. The gray balls are radomes, which protect the actual antenna from ice.
