When creating projects for class, I tend to use what I know - my personal life. My daughter got married this past July and what better way to make an impact than using a bride and groom on their wedding day. I initially found the motivational quote and then went through pictures and ideas until I found the perfect set. This project was created using Adobe Photoshop.

Video Screencast
This video screencast is an instructional video on how to change a password. A video screencast can be a useful tool in training others either online or in a classroom. (Created and edited in MS Powerpoint and Camtasia)
Since I live in Harrisonburg, work at JMU and attend classes at JMU, I thought it fitting to do a video about the impact JMU has on my life. I incorporated the Student Success Center where my office is located, pictures of student staff, video around the SSC and the quad, and my daughter on the day of her graduation from JMU. (Created in Magisto)
This map shows the mappying out the opening of an office, beginning with gaining access to the office, taking the phones off forwarding, turning on the computer and checking voicemails and emails. (Created with Mindomo)
Storyboard
Storyboard Screencast
The Storyboard is designed to layout the instructions in the order that the video screencast will take place. I chose instructions on how to change your JMU e-ID password because this is a fairly common question that we get in the Orientation Office. (Created with MS Word)
Instructional poster
How to Make French Toast
This instructional poster is a combination of the concept mapping process, graphic design and the ADDIE model. Infographics and instructional posters give specific detail about the subject and can offer alternatives for advertising, marketing or just sharing recipes such as French Toast. (Original photos edited in Adobe Photoshop and poster created in Adobe Illustrator)
