Here are some examples of the work I have done in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Most of these were assignments from previous courses that I have taken at James Madison University. To view each image, click on the thumbnails shown below. Enjoy!

These are two brochures that I created in InDesign. For the top image, I was given a black and white brochure full of text with no images. I was told to completely re-design it. So, I decided to create a learning brochure for kids.

For the second image, I was given various parts of a brochure about the Michael J. Fox foundation and was told to put it back together using my own creativity.

These are two advertisements I created in InDesign. For the first image, I was given a black and white ad that consisted of mostly small type. I was told to create a better, more effective advertisement. I chose to direct the ad towards older, middle-class adults.

The second image was an advertisement I designed to be printed in a magazine. It is an ad for JMU's University Recreation Center (UREC).

This is a magazine cover I designed using Photoshop. It is a fictitious magazine I created that is all about event planning, which has always been an interest of mine.
This is a flyer I re-created using InDesign. It is announcing the winner of the fictitious "Top Dog Design Competition," won by Ballyhoo Headquarters.
The final two images I created using Illustrator. This is a relatively new program for me and I am just learning how to use it. The image on the left is a re-creation of a picture I was given in one of my classes, serving as my first Illustrator assignment. The image on the right is the back of a t-shirt that I designed for my sorority's semi-formal social event this fall.
