It's time for you to quit thinking about this stuff, and DO something! Time to get on the web. In this assignment, you will take two versions of a web-based Myers-Briggs-based Personality Test. (Meyers-Briggs Personality Types have been widely researched and documented using many different kinds of tests - you'll most likely find the kind of test this particular site uses to be quite interesting)
Task #1 The first URL you should go to is: http://www.keirsey.com/cgi-bin/keirsey/newkts.cgi Go ahead and answer the questionnaire, press the SCORE button when completed, and write down your Meyers-Briggs personality type in the space on the bottom of this sheet. It should be some combination of four letters.
Task #2 The second URL you should go to is http://www.users.interport.net/~zang/personality.html#shapes Go ahead and choose the image that appeals to you the most, then write down your personality type from this system at the bottom of the page.
Task #3 After finding out what your type is, for instance "INTJ", your next job is to wade through the vast amounts of information about Meyers-Briggs Personality Types and get TWO written profiles of your particular type. You will have to use one of the many (20 or so) search engines available on the web. DO NOT use the Meyers-Briggs info contained on either of the sites you visited to do the test - and DO NOT use sites that reference the exact same information. You are going to have find COMPLETELY DIFFERENT information for this part. (IF you do use the info from the same site, or a site that references either of the two sites, you will receive a 5 point deduction)... you have to find yet ANOTHER site with this information on it.
Turn in:
1. This sheet, with the two blanks filled in from the two web sites. 2. A hard copy of the first page or relevent page of the web site that explains your personality type.
Both sheets should have your name and ID number printed clearly at the top.
