INTERNSHIPS If you are interested in an internship for either fall or spring semester you need to contact Prof. Dona Gilliam at x3854. The applications are located in AS-11 the main office in Anthony-Seeger. The requirements for an internship are that the student must have successfully completed SMAD 201 and have a 2.7 GPA. Each semester and during the summer there are registration deadlines that must be followed. Please check as to when those deadlines are. Also, internship credit is given in the time period that the student is working on the internship and not after the internship is completed. In other words, there is no credit given for retroactive internships. For example, if you were to complete an internship during the summer (but didn't register for it during the summer) and you wanted credit for it in the fall semester, this would not be allowed. |
