The Women's Club Lacrosse team is a student-run organization providing experienced players a chance to participate in competitive play and a team-oriented atmosphere while sharing a love for the game of lacrosse.

Tryouts

Tryouts are held in the first few weeks of school on the ISAT Turf. Girls are expected to provide their own equipment including stick, goggles, mouth guard, and tennis shoes or turf shoes. Tryouts usually last one week and consist of multiple drills to assess your level of play. During this time, the Exec Board will evaluate each player trying out on an individual basis as well as their play with the rest of the team. At the end of the week final cuts will be made and the roster will be determined.

Organization

JMU Club Lacrosse is a student-run organization. We have four executive board members including the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. These four individuals are elected in the spring to lead the team for the following year. The Exec Board acts as coaches and captains when needed, however also play on the team and in games. The team also has several other committee positions that are voted on every year including Community Service chair, Social chair, and Home Tournament Organizers.
