Part V.  Revolt.  "Wherever there is exploitation and oppression, there is resistance and struggle.  The landlord's persecution and exploitation aroused strong resistance and resolute struggle on the part of the peasants."

This final segment documents peasants' efforts to overcome their many years of oppression through revolutionary upheavel.  Again these figures are looking ahead into the future they are poised to achieve.
