I decided to body cast 16 plaster hands, and hang them making their way up a rope. Hanging twelve feet from the ceiling these climbing hands demonstrated a challenge and a journey. United by their silver colors, the hands and rope seem to decrease in size as they descend from the ground, refelcting perseverence and strength.
