Advice of the day
The first week of this class is pretty intense, so
you might want to get a jump on things by installing LaTeX now.
Look at the file "What is LaTeX?" at the link below, and install LaTeX
on your computer using one of the methods outlined in that document. You could also
start working on the problems in Module 1 of the book.
Logistics
- Policy
- Syllabus: Modules 1-9, followed by other stuff
- Tests: Monday 9/21 and Monday 10/26
- Final Exam: Monday 12/7, 10:30-12:30 am
