Integrated Calculus 231, Fall 2004

Announcements:
Don't forget that Test III is the Tuesday right before Thanksgiving Break, and that you all signed a piece of paper saying you would be there on that day!

Advice of the Day:
Start reviewing for the final exam now - start with Section 0.1 and figure out what you know cold, and what you still need to work on.

Do you want help in this class? Here are some options:

  • Contact me: My office hours are 2:30-4:00 Mondays and Wednesdays in Burruss 127, or by appointment. You can also contact me by phone, email, and IM.

  • SI Sessions: Amy Vess leads Supplemental Instruction sessions for Math 231 on Mondays 5:00-5:50 and Wednesdays 6:00-6:50 in Burruss 141.

  • Math and Science Learning Center: Monday through Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday 10 am to 3 pm, and Sunday 5 pm to 8 pm in Wilson 102. No appointments necessary.

  • Work with other students: Meet with the students you work with on "problems days" -- or with other students in the class -- to work on the homework together.

  • Private Tutors: You can get a list of private tutors from the math department secretaries, Brenda Wilkinson and Irma Housden.
