Integrated Calculus 231, Fall 2005

Announcements:
Welcome to Math 231!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A CALCULUATOR: You will need to have a graphing calculator for this class. We won't be using it much (mostly for checking answers and investigating graphs of functions), so you might be able to get by with borrowing one from a friend on test and quiz days. You will be at a disadvantage in this class if you do not have access to a graphing calculator. The TI-89 and TI-92 calculators (and any calculators capable of symbolic differentiation and integration) will NOT be allowed during quizzes or tests in this class. Any style of TI-83 or TI-84 should be fine, as should most other graphing calculators.

Advice of the Day:
Do your homework every day as soon after class as possible. If there is something you don't understand, seek help immediately from a classmate, Laura's office hours, or the Math and Science Learning Center in Wilson Hall.

Files and Links:
You need a PDF viewer to see most of these files (all but the keys, which are JPG files).
If you don't already have it, you can download Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader for free at the Adobe website.
